This small case can be used as a nightstand or an end table. It references Mid-Century and Danish Modern design, with its low profile, splayed legs, and tapered edges. Hand-cut joinery is revealed by a series of twin wedged through tenons across the top and bottom, and dovetailed drawers. The piece shown is built with quarter-sawn white oak, with walnut handles.
The versatility of the design allows it to be expanded in scale to allow more doors or drawers. This broadens the possibilities for use as a sideboard, media cabinet, dresser, etc. Alternate wood species and colors are available.
